The school community in a central Jamaica high school is said to be bracing itself for any eventualities from its members of staff, students and the board of management when the new academic year commences within another two weeks.
THE STAR has learnt that following what is being described as a disgraceful occurrence between the institution's popular headmaster and one of his young female staff, words are spreading that the two will not get a warm welcome back to the institution after the holidays because of their unprofessional behaviour.
THE STAR has gathered that days before the school was closed for the summer holidays, the administrator and the young female teacher were caught having sex in his office.
It is alleged that on the day in question; and after most teachers and students had left the compound, the two lovers went into the principal's office and were spotted by a jealous ex-lover of the principal, who also happens to be a member of the teaching staff at the institution.
It is understood that the ex-lover spent some time waiting to see if the other female teacher would have left the principal's office soon after entering. However, according to information reaching THE STAR, the two were in the office for over one hour enjoying themselves.
It is learnt that the ex-lover decided that she would have no more waiting and decided to put an end to the activitiesinside the love making room, but not before the principal's wife was given a phone call and informed about what was happening.
It is said that soon after the wife was called and informed about what was taking place, she arrived and stormed towards the principal's office. It is understood that the wife pushed open the door, and saw her husband and the woman having sex.
It is alleged that a commotion involving the three adults in the office was overheard by community members who live nearby, as well as teachers who were busy marking papers. This has forced the principal and his lover to be holding a low profile; and it is understood that the two may not turn up for duties come September.
THE STAR has further learnt that several members of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the school are calling for the removal of the two educators, because they have both lost respect; and they are afraid that they will lose the respect of their students as well.
It is understood that the incident has become a hot topic in central Jamaica, especially among educators who know the principal.
