The streets of a St Andrew community are buzzing with talk and laughter following a public squabble between a Chinese businessman and his Chinese wife after he caught her in bed with an employee.
Information reaching THE WEEKEND STAR is that about two weeks ago, the man, who owns a wholesale andrestaurant in the area, went home and allegedly found his wife in bed with the man who is a Jamaican.
That employee is believed to be in his early 20's.
It is understood that following the incident, the man left the home and went back to his business establishments and started packing all the goods into boxes.
"Yuh think the argument did done a dem yaad, a outa the wholesale it done. Mi say Miss ..... tell Mr ...... say him cyan do nutting ina bed," an eyewitness told THE WEEKEND STAR.
Interestingly, THE WEEKEND STAR has learnt that the employee who was caught in bed with the woman is now helping to run the businesses as the businessman has gone back to his homeland.
"Mi say di place dem lock down fi one week, Mr ...... shame and pack up and gone back a China," the eyewitness said.
It is understood that on Monday the establishments were reopened.
"A the woman and har young boy a run di business now, Yuh wah see him all a drive up her CRV," another witness said.
She added, "We shoulda suspicious from long time cause mi neva see a black man a cash ina a Chiney wholesale yet and a long time di boy a cash."

Unconfirmed reports are that a 25-year-old policeman in Clarendon had to seek refuge when he was caught in a comprising position with the wife of a taxi driver.
Sources close to the incident told THE STAR that the policeman and the 45-year-old woman had been in a relationship for over a year before the taxi driver made the discovery.
According to the source the relationship had started after the wife had reported a domestic dispute with her husband. The husband was said to have been arrested because of the incident.

'special' interestFollowing the incident the policeman is said to have taken 'special' interest in the couple and became good friends with the taxi man.
"When the husband was on the road, the policeman was man a yard," the source said.
Reports are however that the taxi man eventually heard rumours about his wife's infidelity but was still in doubt.
Eventually after being ridiculed about it, the taxi driver is said to have decided to go home unexpectedly to make his own checks.
On entering the house the husband is said to have heard his wife giggling and moaning in the dining room. The taxi man is said to have rushed inside the house where he saw his wife and the policeman in a comprising position. Sources said the taxi man rushed after them and the policeman fled the scene to the police station leaving his clothes behind.
Sources close to the policeman say that since the incident he has gone on leave while the wife has moved out of the matrimonial home.

2nd murder charge ‘shocks’ Kartel

POLICE last night slapped a second murder charge on controversial deejay Vybz Kartel, a development that his lawyer said has shocked the artiste. A news release from the constabulary said that detectives from the Constant Spring Criminal Investigation Branch have charged Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, and Kiro Jones, also called ‘Ray Jones’, with murder in relation to the death of Clive Williams, also known as ‘Lizard’.

“Arrangements are being made to have Palmer and Jones brought before the Courts shortly,” the police news release said.

Last night, Kartel’s lawyer, Michael Deans, said the deejay “is shocked at these baseless allegations, but has the greatest confidence in the judiciary and the legal system”.

Kartel has been in jail since October 3 when he was arrested and charged in connection with the July 12 murder of Barrington ‘Bossie’ Burton, a 27-year-old businessman/promoter of a Gregory Park address in St Catherine. Burton was reportedly killed while standing with friends along Walker’s Avenue in Gregory Park.

Nigel Thomas and Lainberg McDonald are jointly charged with the entertainer in relation to Burton’s murder.

The three were remanded in custody when they appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court on October 14.

Kartel, who has made two appearances in the Gun Court Division of the court, is also charged with conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of a firearm.

The deejay is scheduled to return to court on October 26.

Former Reggae Boy Winston ‘Fanna’ Griffiths is dead

Reggae Boy Winston Griffiths is dead.

Thirty-three-year-old Griffiths, a former star player for Glenmuir High, died on Sunday night at a hospital in Kingston after a bout of illness.

Griffiths, who made his debut for Jamaica's Reggae Boyz in 1998, made 28 appearances for the national team scoring two times.

A midfielder, Griffiths, who played for Humble Lion in the National Premier League last season, recently returned from Canada.

Griffiths also represented Galaxy, Hazard and Arnett Gardens.

Iowa Couple Married 72 Years Dies Holding Hands, an Hour Apart

A devoted Iowa couple married for 72 years died holding hands in the hospital last week, exactly one hour apart.

The passing reflected the nature of their marriage, where, "As a rule, everything was done together," said the couple's daughter Donna Sheets, 71.

Gordon Yeager, 94, and his wife Norma, 90, left their small town of State Center, Iowa, on Wednesday to go into town, but never made it. A car accident sent the couple to the emergency room and intensive care unit with broken bones and other injuries. But, even in the hospital, their concerns were each other.

"She was saying her chest hurt and what's wrong with Dad? Even laying there like that, she was worried about Dad," said the couple's son, Dennis Yeager, 52. "And his back was hurting and he was asking about Mom."

When it became clear that their conditions were not improving, the couple was moved into a room together in beds side-by-side where they could hold hands.

"They joined hands; his right hand, her left hand," Sheets said.

Gordon Yeager died at 3:38 p.m. He was no longer breathing, but the family was surprised by what his monitor showed.

"Someone in there said, 'Why, then, when we look at the monitor is the heart still beating?'" Sheets recalled. "The nurse said Dad was picking up Mom's heartbeat through Mom's hand."

"And we thought, 'Oh my gosh, Mom's heart is beating through him,'" Dennis Yeager said.

"Dad used to say that a woman is always worth waiting for," Dennis Yeager said. "Dad waited an hour for her and held the door for her."

Norma Yeager died exactly an hour later.

The inseparable couple was engaged and married within 12 hours in 1939 on the day Norma Yeager graduated from high school.

"She graduated from high school on May 26, 1939, at about 10 a.m., and at about 10 p.m. that night she was married to my dad at his sister's house," Sheets said.

The vibrant duo had a "very, very full life."

They worked as a team. They traveled together, they were in a bridge club together and they worked in a Chevrolet dealership, creamery and other businesses together.

"They always did everything together," Sheets said. "They weren't apart. They just weren't."

Dennis Yeager described his father as an "outgoing" and "hyper" man who was still working on the roof of his house and sitting cross-legged with no problem at age 90.

"The party didn't start until he showed up," he said. "He was the outgoing one and she supported him by being the giver. She supported Dad in everything. And he would've been lost without her."

Dennis Yeager said it is strange today to go into his parents' home and see the "two chairs side-by-side that they sat in all the time," empty. He said it was in those chairs that his parents cheered on the Arizona sports teams they loved and rarely missed an episode of "Wheel of Fortune" and "The Price Is Right."

According to their obituary , besides their children, the Yeagers are survived by her sister, Virginia Kell, and his brother, Roger Yeager, as well as 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Their grandson Randy Yeager said he has been inspired in his own 13-year marriage by his grandparents' loving and lasting marriage.

"Grandpa and I were talking this summer about all of the people getting divorced for this reason or that and he mentioned that nobody stays together anymore," Randy Yeager wrote to ABCNews.com in an email. "I told [him] that my wife Mara and I would never be getting a divorce and he said, 'That's because you're old school, like me!'

The couple were put in a casket together holding hands for their funeral this week, but are being cremated and will have their ashes mixed before burial.

"That was one of the greatest compliments I could have ever received and one I will strive to live up to for the rest of my life," Randy Yeager said.

"All their life has been together," Sheets said. "So, when it came to the funeral home, the family asked, 'Can we have them put in the casket together holding hands?' Because that's the way their life was."

COPS HAVE TO RESCUE CROSS-DRESSER IN OLD HARBOUR

A man dressed in wig and spike heels was chased by angry men who had stopped to assist him after his car broke down in Lennonville, St Catherine, on Monday.
The cross-dresser had to be rescued by the Old Harbour police after the men who were fooled into thinking he was a sexy damsel in distress discovered the truth behind the heels and wigs.
THE STAR was informed that the male was in Lennonville about two miles from Old Harbour about 11:30 p.m., when the incident happened. He was said to have been driving a Lexus SUV which got a flat tyre along the roadway. The man reportedly stopped passersby in an effort to get help.
It was said that there was some sexual chemistry between the passersby and the cross-dresser.
However, the police source said; "After a keen observation it was revealed that the browning was indeed a man. The 'good samaritans' became angry and decided to give him a sound beating."
The man who showed he was quite quick on his feet, left his attackers in his dust and fled to the Old Harbour Police Station.
"Yes, he threw away the wig and spike heel he was wearing and ran more than a mile to the station. The persons were shouting to send out di bwoy, mek wi deal wid him," a policeman confirmed when contacted by THE STAR.
The police further said that when the man was asked to change his clothes at the station they were in for a bigger surprise.
"It was really a shock when he was changing to see him wearing panties and brassiere," the police source said.

Libyan Dictator Moammar Gadhafi Is Dead

Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi, the most wanted man in the world, has been killed, Libyan Prime Minister Mahmoud Jibril said today.

The flamboyant tyrant who terrorized his country and much of the world during his 42 years of despotic rule was reportedly cornered by insurgents in the town of Sirte, where Gadhafi had been born and a stronghold of his supporters.

"We have been waiting for this moment for a long time. Moammar Gadhafi has been killed," Jibril said at a news conference in Tripoli.

He added that the rebel government will wait until later today or Friday to officially declare what it calls a state of liberation.

The National Transition Council earlier today said that its fighters found and shot Gadhafi in Sirte, which finally fell to the rebels today after weeks of tough fighting. Rebels now control the entire country.

Word of Gadhafi's death triggered celebrations in the streets of Tripoli with insurgent fighters waving their weapons and dancing jubilantly.

The White House and NATO said they were unable to confirm reports of his death.

Rapper Rick Ross reportedly hospitalized 2nd time

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama (AP) — Rapper Rick Ross was reportedly hospitalized in Alabama after suffering two medical scares in six hours that required planes to be diverted.

The first scare came Friday afternoon as Ross was on a Delta Air Lines flight from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Memphis, Tennessee, where Ross was to appear at a University of Memphis basketballevent that night.

The plane returned to Florida after Ross suffered an unspecified medical problem. He was treated at a Fort Lauderdale hospital, and he even tweeted afterward: "Memphis here I come."

But after Ross hopped a Memphis-bound private jet, it made an unscheduled landing in Birmingham, Alabama, because the 34-year-old singer experienced another medical problem, Memphis basketball coach Josh Pastner told a crowd Friday night.

"On his way to Memphis," Pastner said, "he had to make another emergency landing, in Birmingham. He got really sick again, and they had to rush him to the emergency room."

WMC-TV in Memphis reported that Ross suffered a second medical seizure and had been hospitalized. The news station said the University of Alabama-Birmingham Hospital would not comment on his condition.

A hospital spokeswoman told The Associated Press that no one by Ross's name or his real name, William Leonard Roberts II, was listed as a patient. An emergency room representative, citing federal privacy laws, said she could not confirm the identity of anyone being treated there.

Calls to Ross' publicist from the AP were not returned Friday.

The Miami-based gangsta rapper gained fame with his husky voice and lyrics that spotlighted the grimier side of Miami life. He has become one of rap's most popular figures in recent years.

Ross has a new album entitled "God Forgives, I Don't," due out in December. The hefty rapper's hits include "Aston Martin Music," ''B.M.F. (Blowing Money Fast)" and "Hustlin'."

Rick Ross is unconscious and paramedics are desperately trying to resuscitate him.

Rick was on a flight going from Ft. Lauderdale to Memphis today, when the rapper lost consciousness.  The plane was forced to make an emergency landing.

Emergency workers tell us the call came in at 12:55 PM ET ... the caller reported a seizure.

Ross is currently on a gurney at the airport, and an eyewitness tells us EMT workers are administering CPR.  Members of Rick's entourage are standing by, some of them extremely emotionally upset.

MAVADO TO MIGRATE TO AFRICA?

 Dancehall singjay Mavado may soon set up shop in the continent of Africa, ahead of an

 upcoming performance there. Reports out of the West African nation of Ghana suggest that

 Mavado, whose given name is David Brooks, has expressed interest in migrating there, to

 local journalists at a pre-concert press conference in Accra last weekend. The concert is

 being hosted by Ghanaian reggae artiste, Samini, who discussed the possibility of featuring

 the Alliance singjay on his show two years ago, while visiting Jamaica. Now, the "Gully

 God" has hinted that he would love to move to Ghana in the near future as soon as he

 acquires land there; claiming that "Ghana reminds me of home. (I?m) an African due to

 ancestry and (I?m) very excited about the prospects of living in the Motherland." Mavado is

 not the first Dancehall/Reggae act to signal his intentions to migrate to Ghana. Rita Marley,

Ashton Kutcher's Alleged One Night Stand Breaks Her Silence!

The woman at the center of Ashton Kutcher's alleged affair has given her first interviews.

Sara Leal, 22, has spoken out to both Us Weekly and the UK's The Sun newspaper, claiming she had sex with Demi Moore's husband on the stars' sixth wedding anniversary.

Leal claimed to Us Weekly that the "Two and a Half Men" star seduced her as she was partying at San Diego's Hard Rock Hotel on September 23.

Leal claimed that she and a friend got naked in a hot tub with Kutcher, and later, he hinted he was interested in a threesome. After her trip to the bathroom, Leal claimed her friend left and she had unprotected sex with Kutcher.

"He was good," she told Us. "We weren't, like, making love, but it wasn't weird or perverted."

Afterward, she claimed the two talked about politics.

"[He] asked if I could name up-and-coming candidates," Leal told the mag. "I said Rick Perry."

Leal claimed the two were intimate again, and later he started to try and look through her cell phone text messages. She said she had texted a friend and told the pal she was partying with the actor.

"He just said flat-out, 'See, this is stuff I can't have happen.' I offered to delete them," Leal said, claiming a bodyguard came in and took her phone away, promising her she'd get it back when she left.

Leal told The Sun that before she left, Kutcher complimented himself.

"The last thing I remember him saying was he did a good job. We woke up and I was wearing a robe. He opened it up and I was like, 'What are you doing?' He was like, 'Just checking. OK, I did good! You're really pretty,'" she claimed to the tabloid.

The woman claimed Kutcher originally told her, before their encounter, that he was separated from his wife, and she remains unsure if their relationship is real.

"If they're happily married then I feel bad," she told Us.

Kutcher and Moore have not addressed the allegations.

MORE PROBLEMS FOR THE JAILBOSS

MORE trouble appears to be on the horizon for jailed dancehall deejay Vybz Kartel. According to a highly-placed police source, the DeeJay who is already facing charges of murder, conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of a firearm, could be at the centre of police investigations into two additional murders.

"We definitely are looking into his role in the double murder of two men in Portmore (St Catherine)," the source told the Observer. The source however, declined to elaborate on the case.

The news came as the artiste, whose real name is Adija Palmer, appeared in the Gun Court division of the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court to answer to charges against him.

Palmer has been charged in connection with the July murder of Barrington 'Bossie' Burton, a 27-year-old businessman/promoter of a Gregory Park address in St Catherine. Burton was murdered while standing with friends along Walker's Avenue in Gregory Park.

Attorney Tom Tavares-Finson told reporters yesterday that during the hearing, which was closed to the public, the court was informed that two men are to be charged jointly with Palmer for Burton's murder.

Palmer was remanded into police custody until Friday when the case against him will be mentioned for a bail application to be heard.

Additionally the court was told that statements have been served on the defence by the prosecution.

The artiste was arrested two Fridays ago, along with three other persons, at a hotel in New Kingston by cops from the Flying Squad.

Yesterday morning a throng of fans bearing posters with the artiste's likeness converged on the Half-Way-Tree Police Station shouting pro-Kartel slogans and chanting, "Free the world boss," using a title the DeeJay has bestowed upon himself.

The peaceful crowd, comprising mainly young women, were of the view that Palmer had been set-up. The group stayed late into the afternoon hoping to catch a glimpse of the artiste while he was being transported from the court's lockup.
