Ezekiel Foster, 40, a Jamaican Pentecostal Church deacon and builder, is to return to a London court on Tuesday, September 20 after being charged with the September 12 murder of his partner of five years.
Mr. Foster was remanded when he appeared in court on Friday after being charged with the murder of Sashana Roberts, 24, who is also a Jamaican.
Mr. Foster, who fled after the killing, was held last Thursday after the police launched a search for him.
Miss Roberts, who was a dancer and the mother of three children, was found with multiple stab wounds in her North London home last Monday.
A 40-year-old man, who was arrested along with Foster on suspicion of assisting an offender, was offered bail and ordered to report to a police station on October 17.
Miss Roberts died leaving three children ages five, three and eleven months old, who are now being cared for by relatives.
